How to play Owl in Valorant: tips, tricks, tactics

Immediately, as soon as we were all introduced to the Owl, it became obvious: this character will become an integral part of any Valorant team. This is a useful scout, providing important information to the rest of the squad. He's even more useful than Cypher! His abilities are simple, so figuring out how to use them will be easy. However, we will tell you how to get the most out of them and become the best Owl on the Valorant servers!

reconnaissance

Attach such an arrow to the desired location to find out about the location of enemies in this area. If there are opponents within the range of the arrow, then the whole team will see them.

This is Owl's most useful ability. He shoots with a bow. The fighter gains this skill for free every round. To get the most out of the skill, you have to think about exactly where your opponents will be at the beginning of the round. Fire a recon shot as soon as the round starts. If you're lucky and you guess the enemy's maneuvers, you'll instantly know where he is. Reconnaissance has its own cooldown. Therefore, the sooner you release it, the sooner the ability becomes available for reuse.

Always try to launch reconnaissance from cover. Shooting at the arcuate tra??torii, which allows arrows to fly over walls and other objects. Also, you can use single or double stack. And remember that reconnaissance does not allow you to reveal all the areas at once. If the enemy does not see the arrow, then the arrow does not show the enemy.

Here is another trick when using a reconnaissance arrow. Before the start of each round, open the map and click on the place where you want to launch a reconnaissance arrow. When you close the map, this place will be marked in the game. Use the marker to launch a reconnaissance arrow. You will probably need to take some time and practice to fire arrows more accurately.

A reconnaissance shot fired can be destroyed by opponents. And this they can do before she can convey their location. If you know where the enemy is, you can also use reconnaissance to temporarily distract him. While your opponent has turned away to destroy the arrow, you can leave cover and surprise him.

One last piece of reconnaissance advice: a word of caution. It won't reveal enemies hidden in the smokescreen, including Jet's Whirlwind and Brimstone's Skysmoke. Even if the reconnaissance is in the smoke, where the enemy is hiding. That is, such shots are useless!

shock??trel

The Operator fires an arrow that, on landing, electrocutes all enemies in the area of effect, draining a significant amount of HP.

Shock Arrow is a great skill that allows the Owl to shoot around corners where enemies might be hiding. At the same time, you cannot kill an enemy with a single shock arrow. Even with a direct hit, it deals only 90 damage. However, if you manage to hit an enemy hiding in cover, you can often trigger panic attacks in them. And even if he does not panic, you will already have an advantage in battle, since you will take away some of the enemy’s health.

Here's a fun trick to get the enemy's attention with a shock arrow. You probably won't find out about it anywhere else! However, this trick can lead to your multiple death. When you attack, after planting the Thorn, stand in its place and shoot a shock arrow straight into the sky with full power. After a while, the arrow will land on the Spike. The enemy will not even know that she is floating in the sky. If you correctly time and number of bounces before the explosion, you can kill the enemy trying to disable the Spike. Two shock arrows will delay the enemy even longer! Not the most useful, but a fun feature.

Drone Owl

ACypher has the "Camera" tax, but only in this case Owl releases a drone and can control it. Just like Cypher's camera, Owl Drone can fire a tracking dart.

The Owl Drone is a powerful gadget in the Owl's arsenal. Don't let your agent die before you use the drone. If you find yourself dying before activating the drone, then know that you are probably playing Owl too aggressively. And the main benefit of this agent lies in the information provided!

A good tip for using a drone is to always use it with allies. The drone dies after several hits. If the enemies notice him, they will most likely start shooting at him. And if at this moment your more powerful comrade comes out of the shelter, then he will have a few seconds to freely attack the opponents while they are carried away by the destruction of the Owl Drone.

Wrath of the Hunter

If you know the exact location of the enemy, then select this ultimate and fire a few shots in a given direction. Arrows will fly through the walls and destroy all who stand in the way.

Hunter's Wrath is one of the funniest ults in the game. Killing opponents with it is an incredible pleasure. But you don't need to run it xaotically, in the hope of hitting someone. Always use the Recon or Owl Drone to spot your opponents first. Once you know where they are, you will have 3 shots to try and kill them. Two hits can destroy the enemy's full health and armor.

Remember the tip on how to reveal the card with Owl's recon shot? This tactic also works for Ulta. If you think you know where the opponents will be at the beginning of the round, open the map, mark this place and use the marker to launch Hunter's Wrath there.
