How to unlock new technologies in Borderlands 3: Bounty of Blood

In the latest expansion for Borderlands 3, you will come across strange stone pillars along your way. We tell you how to activate them.

The Bounty of Blood add-on for Borderlands 3 adds four large locations to the game. As in the existing locations, each of them you can explore for secrets and collectibles. Of course, you will find most of the loot and collectibles as you progress through the campaign, but some of them are quite carefully hidden from view behind various barriers and locked passages. One of these barriers that you can encounter on your way are strange stone pillars. Upon approaching them for the first time, you will hear that the Hunter may use this technology in the future.

The easiest way to unlock the technology to activate these pillars is to follow the story. Near the end of the game, you will be prompted to activate one of these stones. At this point, the NPC will give you a special item that you can use to unlock the technology. Once you get this item, you will be able to use the pillars to travel, as well as to explore the locked passages in locations. It's worth noting that you won't be able to accidentally miss this moment, because, as we said, the technology will become available during the passage?? story missions.
