Joining a nation in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord is a great way to earn extra cash and get better soldiers. Below we explain how to join the desired kingdom.


You may need to complete the Restore the Clan main quest in order to gain enough renown to join the kingdom . If you want to do this, find a castle in the nearest region and talk to the lord. If there is no lord, then try to look into another castle. When you find him, then say that you would like to fight for the kingdom. He will offer you a mercenary contract and will pay for each battle you win.

This will also allow you to join all local armies. You can join a kingdom that is at war with someone and then follow its army to win major battles, earning a lot of experience, loot and captives.
