How to complete the Eyes of the Enemy quest in Torment - Tides of Numenera

In order to unlock the quest, you will need to chat with Daama of the Blossom at the Fifth Eye Tavern in the Cliff's Edge area.

How to complete the quest in the Torment Tavern - Tides of Numenera

You can start the quest by talking to this character. First, let this character scan your mind. This will give you a permanent +1 bonus to Intelligence.

Dharma is convinced that there is a being inside the Fifth Eye called the Enemy. You must find this creature.

Daama from Bloom

Once you've finished talking to Daama of the Blossom, continue on with the Eyes of the Enemy quest in Torment Tides of Numenera. Go to Feriok and ask him about risky drinks. Try each of these drinks (10 tires each, 30 tires in total). If you move to the labyrinth, then use the portal to return. Go to the left side of the tavern and you will see a creature named Malaise (invisible). Talk to him on all available topics.

Chat with Daama of Bloom again and tell him about the mysterious creature. You will have to decide if you want toChat with Malaise alone or in a group. The second option is preferable. Regardless of your choice, you will have a long battle with the multiplied Malaise. If you asked allies to help you, then at the very beginning, all of them, except Daama, will be trapped in a force field. They won't be able to take any action.

Fortunately, this field is not permanent, so in the later stages of the battle, your allies will be released one by one and will be able to help you achieve victory.

Focus on individual Malaise creatures and attack them until they are destroyed. After that, move on to a new target, etc. Try to use area attacks if the creatures are next to each other. Each time a copy of Malaise dies, the rest of the remaining enemies will receive a buff and restore their health a little.

After the fight, you will have a short conversation with Daama, after which the quest will be completed, and you will receive 40 XP.

Talk to Daama again to receive a powerful Teneshag. This will most likely be your first sticky item that you can place in the "Private" slot. Almost all characters have two of these slots. In addition to bonuses, personal items also give negative effects. It all depends on your Concentration skill. On the firstlevel, both artifacts give a negative effect, at the second - one of the two used (if you use one, then there will be no debuffs), and at the third - there are no negative effects at all.
