How to start the event: Curious Camera

To participate in the Five Shades of Fortune event, you must reach Adventure Rank 20 and complete the world quest called Curious Camera. Look for "Five Shades of Fortune" in the "Events" section. Click "Ji Tong Location".

Description of the event and rewards

The Five Shades of Fortune Genshin Impact event will run from February 3rd to February 10th. Five photos of certain shades (1x scarlet, 1x ultramarine, 1x pale gold, 1x ocher and 1x purple aster) must be brought to Ji Tong daily.

For 5 shots, you will receive 60 source stones and 120,000 pestilence, 12 hero experience or 24 magical amplification ores .

Taking colorful pictures

First you need to know the subject of the shooting. For example, we need photos of red objects. After that, in the inventory, select a special camera. We go in search of an object (fruit, creature or flower) in the game world. After finding the item, press the "Z" key to use the camera. Focus your camera and take a photo.

You will receive a photo with a random shade. The subject may be red, but the picture may have a tint: scarlet, pale gold, purple, ocher, and other shades.

Important! You cannot photograph the same object. But you can take photos of different objects in one location.

Important! The number of photos is limited. Only 10 snapshots can be clicked daily.

If you didn’t have time to take the right photo or there is not enough of a certain shade, you can exchange or sell photos to your friends.

Where to find items of the right colors in Genshin Impact

Day one: red item

On the first day of the event, you must take a photo of red objects.

• Mulberry - Examine Li Yue's circles. Can be found near Standing??th court "Wang Shu". The finished image will have a shade of purple aster and scarlet.
• Cloudy Pepper is Li Yue's circumference and Xiang Ling's elevation material that grows near Qing Ce Village. The finished image will have a shade of ultramarine.
• Flaming flower (stamen) - located near the Piro Orchid Cave. But, in the finished picture there will be a shade of scarlet and ocher.
• Apples - grow around the entire circumference of Teyvat. You can take pictures of fruits growing on trees, as well as those that have fallen to the ground. The finished image will be a shade of ultramarine and pale gold.
• You can also take a photo of Zakatnik, Wind Aster and Valyashka. Meat can not be photographed, it will not work.

Second day: blue creature

Blue creatures include animals and monsters that live in the game world of Genshin Impact. It is necessary to look for creatures that belong to the Hydro and Cryo types.

Unfortunately, ultramarine will not always work, even if the object is a bluish tint. To avoid attack, do not get too close to the subject being photographed. If the character is hit, activate the camera again.

• Cryo and hydro slimes . Water slugs live on the shore shown in the screenshot below. You can freeze them or use a shield. Will it be in the finished picture?? scarlet shade or ultramarine.

• Cryo Crystal Butterflies - Try to find them in Dragonspine. They need to be photographed from afar. The finished image will have a pale golden hue.
• Fatui (Cryo and Hydro Musketmen) - see their location on the screenshot. The finished image will have a shade of ocher.

Third day: red creature

Pyro Slimes, Hilichurls, and Abyssal Mages can be found in the Jasper Forest in the Li Yue area. Use the teleporter to get to the plateau northeast of the Southern Heaven Gate.

Head to the North, there are 7 Pyro Slimes waiting for you. After taking a photo, return to the plateau and move south. Hereyou will find some hilichurls (creatures with torches). A little lower is a hilichurl archer who uses fire arrows and a Void Mage Pyro.

Fourth day: blue item

Blue items include crystals and various plants.

Crystal Fragments and Magic Crystal Fragments.

They can be found in various areas. In one area, you can stumble upon several crystals at once.

• Examine the cave east of Qingxu Lake.
• We also recommend visiting the cave under Mount Aozang near the seven deposits. To get to the cave, use the teleporter and head to the southern lake.
• Three clusters can be found in the Gu'yun Stone Forest.
• Look around the valley on Tianheng Mountain and find two clusters. The hilichurl point will lead to a cave with midnight jade.
