How to unlock the enhanced Ultimate Break in Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Final Fantasy 7 Remake brings back the Desperate Attacks from the sixth installment in the series. And now they are called "Breaking the Limit". Basically, it's about a powerful move with which you can deal significant damage to opponents, including bosses. However, there is a cooldown between the first and subsequent attacks. That is, you will have to wait until the Limit Break is charged again.

But that is not all. The fact is that you can unlock the "Breakthrough of the Limit" of the second level. This is an enhanced attack that deals even more damage, but also requires a longer cooldown. Unfortunately, if you ignore most of the side quests and focus solely on the story levels, you will miss out on unlocking the enhanced Ultimate Break. Fortunately, you have us: we talk about how you can unlock these attacks.

In the ninth chapter, you will encounter the Colosseum. It's like a testing arena. Here you can take part in additional battles, earning various rewards. At some point, by completing the story missions, you will unlock free fights in the Colosseum. And this is your chance to get access to the enhanced Limit Break!

Some Colosseum battles are tagged Cloud vs, Tifa vs, Barret vs and so on. Complete these quests to earn an additional, empowered ultimate for your character. For each character there will be a separate “Breakthrough of the Limit” of the second level. Complete story missions to get even more of these battles in the Colosseum. It's simple, and in no case do not ignore this point even on the first playthrough.

There are four playable characters in Final Fantasy 7 Remake - Cloud, Barret, Tifa, and Iris. Cloud can destroy opponents using a huge sword, Barret shoots from his hand, Tifa fights in hand-to-hand combat, and Iris skills focus on magic and healing. This is a strong unit, and you can strengthen the already powerful characters by unlocking the second level of Breaking the Limit.
