How to unlock all abilities in Spiritfarer

Abilities in Spiritfarer are unique skills that give Stella new movement options.

These abilities are unlocked by revealing various shrines hidden throughout the game's map. Once the shrine is unlocked, you will need to spend two Obols to unlock the ability. Here is an overview of each ability in Spiritfarer, including a description of what each skill does.

How to unlock all abilities in Spiritfarer

double jump

The double jump ability allows Stella to make a second jump while in the air.

This sanctuary is located on Hummingbird Island. The island's coordinates are 39, 139, and you can get to the shrine whenever you want.

Slip

The Glide skill allows Stella to slowly descend in the air. It also allows her to swim up streams, but only in certain areas of the game.

The Glyde Shrine can be found on Furogawa Island. The island's coordinates are -150, 67 and you can fly to it whenever you want.

Zipline

The ability allows you to slide on hanging ropes and cables.

The sanctuary is located on the island of Nordweiler. To get to this island, an icebreaker must be installed on Stella's ship. With it, you can find Nordweiler at coordinates -3, 185.

jump

This skill allows Stella to jump from certain objects to an additional height. Repeated jumps increase the height gained from this ability.

The shrine of this ability can be found on Oxbury Island. To get to this island, you must have the Rockbreaker upgrade for Stella's ship. After this upgrade, head to coordinates 233, 18 to get the Bounce ability.

dash

This ability allows Stella to fire upwards and forwards in a curved path. In the air, it will be accompanied by a surge of yellow energy.

The ability can be found on Greymist Peaks, but it requires the Mist Cleaner 1000 ship upgrade to get there. Double jump, jump, and slide will be needed to pass through a series of geysers on the way to this sanctuary. First make sure you get them all, then you can find the island at 216, 96.

light flash

Light Burst causes the energy of Eternal Light to surround Stella, releasing in all directions around her.

To get to this shrine, Stella must have the Bax story quest on the ship, as well as the Mist Cleaner 1000 upgrade. After all these requirements are met, head to coordinates -185, -82. Use your double jump and slide abilities to move around the island and you will find a hidden temple at the top.

Improved Tools

This ability increases the effectiveness of Stella's tools. Both mining and fishing tools benefit from this bonus.

Before gaining this ability, Stella had to receive a treasure map from Francis. In addition, the ship will need a Mist Cleaner 1000 nozzle. If all these requirements are met, the Lost Temple can be found at coordinates 220, 167.
