How to Reduce Anarchy and Discontent in XCOM: Chimera Squad

Frustration grows when you skip a day and ignore operations in a particular region. Full discontent in one region gives 1 anarchy daily. Below we describe how to reduce these indicators.

How to Reduce Discontent in the XCOM Region: Chimera Squad

There are several options. The first is to use the additional operations of the field detachments. Open the map screen and you will see "blank squares" in each region. Click on them and you can form field units. There are 3 types of units. Intelligence is spent on the formation of each. But every week, units will bring different profits, including intelligence. Projects will appear in the assembly complex, which will unlock improved and perfect field units. After that, you can upgrade their level to the second and third, respectively. The more units of the same type you have, the higher the cost of hiring and upgrading them.

After you create a field unit, you can use the skill at the bottom of the map. The first one is "Vigilance". It allows you to reduce discontent in any selected area, if there is a field unit there. Cooldown - 3 turns.

Another field unit ability that indirectly affects discontent is Quarantine. Is she a few turns?? stops any changes in discontent in the region (fixes the values). That is, if you have two operations, you can record discontent in one region, and choose a side task in another.

The second way is to complete the task in a specific region. If there are no operations in the region, then the level of discontent will never rise. If there are operations in two regions, then you will have to decide in which of them to ignore the mission (which means the discontent will increase by 2 points), and in which one to perform (it will decrease by 2 points).

The third option is that the mission "Humanitarian Aid" will appear in special operations. It takes 5 days to complete. After completing it, you will reduce discontent by 1 in each region. Requires a rank 4 or 5 character.

How to reduce anarchy in the city

Anarchy grows once per turn, 1 unit for each region of the city with the maximum level of unhappiness.

First, there is the ability of field units, which is located at the bottom of the screen on the city map. It is called the "Department for the Investigation of Especially Dangerous Crimes."

The second way is to complete an investigation against one of the three factions. In this case, the anarchy is reduced by 4 turns.

To stop her growth, ??make sure that there are no regions in the city with maximum discontent (red scale).

Later, the Crisis Management mission will appear in special operations. It takes 5 days to complete, but it reduces anarchy by 3. Requires a rank 4 or 5 character.
