How to resurrect a companion in Baldur's Gate 3

Traveling through the harsh and unpredictable world of Baldur's Gate 3, you will definitely have to take part in the battles. Often characters will die.

In Baldur's Gate 3, your party consists of four characters. Some of them may die, so you will have to resurrect them. But not everything is as simple as it seems.

If your partner dies in the middle of the battle, first eliminate the remaining enemies.

Companion Resurrection:

  1. Approach the dead companion. Above the character will be a skull icon.
  2. Try to revive a comrade with spells or something else. If unsuccessful, try the next step. Don't forget about the "Help" feature on the bonus actions tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Click "Rebirth Scroll" at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select an area like this. to have a fallen satellite in it.

The companion will be resurrected with a low level of health (from 1 to 6). The exact value depends on your level and equipment.

Paid resurrection

Recently, I managed to discover another, paid way to resurrect both satellites and the main character. So, if your character died in battle and you can't raise him with the Help bonus action, you'll have to use a resurrection scroll or find a special undead.

Complete the Abandoned Ruins quest given by Shadowheart. At the end of the crypt, you need to find a secret room, behind the wall to the left of the statue (read our walkthrough). There is a sarcophagus in this secret room, and the undead inside. Chat with non-aggressive phrases. The undead will go to your camp, and will resurrect any characters for a modest fee (as for resurrection) - 200 coins for each.

And then we will tell you where to find the resurrection scrolls...
