As we mentioned, rotating items in The Sims 4 is very easy, and there are actually a few different ways to do it depending on the platform you're using. To rotate an object in The Sims 4 on PC , simply follow the instructions in the list below:

1. Select an element by clicking on it with the left mouse button, using the comma and period keys to rotate the element
2. Select an element by left-clicking on it and right-clicking to rotate the element 45 degrees clockwise.
3. Open the Sims camera, left click on an item while holding the ALT key, and rotate the item with the mouse

There are different ways to rotate an element depending on what you want to do with it. The first method is ideal if you want to easily rotate a piece of furniture counterclockwise or clockwise. However, if you just want to rotate the element clockwise, the second method is more convenient. Finally, ifand you're going to be rotating a lot of objects, you'll probably want to use the third option, since you'll be able to see the entire room from above and switch between objects easily.

If you're playing The Sims 4 on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 , rotating items is pretty easy too. All you have to do is go to Build Mode and select an item, from there just press R1/RB and L1/LB to rotate your items. You will find that you can easily move your items in any direction you like!
