How to Earn Influence in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord

This is a rare and very valuable resource in the game, which is directly related to the passage of the story campaign. Without influence points, you will not be able to found your own state. Below we tell you how to get them.

Before you can use influence, you will need to establish your own kingdom . This is a long process associated with the story campaign. After finding all the lords and restoring the Dragon Banner, you can create a kingdom. This is the stage where influence comes into play.

When this happens, Influence will become the main resource that you get for many actions. Kill bandits and marauders, complete certain quests and so on. Lots of options! But its value can both rise and fall. The impact can even be negative! Once you unlock the ability to earn Influence, it's a good idea to make a backup.

Before you do anything, save and go hunting for marauders. Kill them within half an hour to an hour and earn your first 50 influence points. Why did we save? If you attack the wrong village by launching a majoraging, then instead of an increase in influence, you will get a significant minus. That's why it's worth keeping backup saves on hand.

Influence works in a similar way to fame. You earn more points depending on the size of the battle. If you are fighting a huge army of 400-500 units that has several generals, you can get a significant boost in influence. But the battle against small groups of up to 100 units will not give a special result!
