Ghost of Tushima Map

Want to know how huge the Ghost of Tushima map is? Take a look at all three regions.

The Ghost of Tushima map is large, which shouldn't come as a surprise since it's based on a real island in Japan. This is a large game world in which you can roam. For example, there are three different regions that you can explore as you play with Izuhara, Toyota. and Kamiagata, providing a wide range of climates and landscapes.

The scenery, enemy types, and density all change as the story takes you through this world, with variety and changes made to the three-act structure of the main campaign. You can explore the unlocked areas whenever you want. Outside of the main quest, Tsushima Island is an important part of the story.

Izuhara is the first area you explore in the game. This is the largest, most densely populated area of the entire map, full of villages and settlements. Since you'll be here at the beginning of the story, you'll mostly encounter the bandits as enemies, and the Mongol hordes swell in numbers as soon as you leave. It is a temperate, forested area with many varied landscapes and elevations to explore.

The third and final area you unlock, Kamiagata, is a rare, icy place. There are still villages, shrines and bases to discover, as well as enemy camps, but there are far fewer of them than in the last two areas. Ice and snow are its defining characteristic, the terrain is almost a blend of the two previous areas, with mountains ripping through the flat plains.
