Endings Inside 2016

Dark adventure game Inside is filled with secrets. One of the biggest secrets is a locked door located in a bunker that most players will never find at all.


And so the community of Inside fans put together all the efforts and knowledge, and finally sorted out the issue. It is now known that this locked door allows for an alternate ending for Inside 2016.

And it's not easy to open the door! You will have to find 14 other secrets and then destroy 14 strange devices. Most likely, on the first playthrough of the game, you will miss some of these devices. More to say, you will most certainly not find any of them, since each is quite well hidden. In some locations, complex puzzles await you, and clues are incredibly difficult to find. Below you will find out how to find all these secrets and get an additional ending.


Alternate Ending Inside

In order to open the hidden ending, you must find 14 devices and destroy them. These devices are scattered throughout the storyline. They are hidden in distorted space, difficult places. Often, searching for them will lead you to places of interest that allow you to learn even more about the history of the nameless hero.

Secret 1. Muddy waters

After escaping the three dogs and jumping into the water, swim down and to the left to find the first device. To disable the strange sphere, interact with it and drag in the opposite direction.

Secret 2. Field research

There are secret bunker doors at the far end of the cornfield. To find them, press the corresponding key several times. The guy will pull the door as soon as he is near it. Follow down and go through the red glowing hole on the left. You will find another device. In the same bunker you will find an alternative ending. Be sure to come back here after you destroy all the devices.


Secret 3. Vi viv and

At the farm, after solving the puzzle with the car, when you climb onto the roof of the barn, you will need to jump down onto the cart with dead carcasses. Push the cart to the left and climb onto it. Next, interact with the boards on the left wall of the shed to get inside.

Secret 4. Left behind

After solving the crane and tree puzzle, push the safe off the ledge so that it falls through the floor. Jump into this hole and pay attention to the ventilation grate on the left. Push the valve and enter the passage to find a small room with a device.


Secret 5. Incomprehensible foundation (Obscure Foundations)

Inside the city with marching people, you will pass by a large billboard. Slide down the ladder to reach the next building on the right. Jump in the middle to the pipe, but do not rush to go up, but go down. At the bottom of the alley you will find a hidden device.

Secret 6. Friends in the Lowlands

Where further along the storyline you will find a submarine. In the flooded factory, you will have to use the submarine to break through the cracked wall and get to the control room, where you can open the door to the bunker. When the door is open, return to the submarine and jump over it. Walk to the right to go through the red double doors with wooden beams. Go along the sunken stairs, follow down until you see a cargo container with a strip of light. Push the container to the left to open a passage to the device.


Puzzle solution . Use the mind control device to solve the puzzle. Move the man mockup so that he is on top of the submarine. Return to the submarine and then jump to the mind control device above the water to connect the drone. Now return to the control device on the left and move the drone to the secret device in the background so that it destroys it.

Secret 7. Painting

After escaping the floating creature, when you break through the roof, you will be outside the factory. You need to move to the right in order to plunge into the water again on a submarine. But instead, follow to the left! Destroy the pipes above the stairs. This will take a few minutes. When the rubble falls, climb up the high ledge and destroy the device.


Secret 8. Pack Mentality

At the giant factory, where it takes 20 bodies to open the front door, get the Mind Control Helmet and then go to the puzzle room on the bottom left. Free the imprisoned drones from the hanging cage, then head back to the ladder by the wooden supports. Use these drones to knock down the supports and open the entrance to the secret cave.

Puzzle solution . There are many killer dogs in this cave. To deal with them, take a lit burner and push the pillar. Take a torch with you. Dogs will run away from you.

Secret 9. Respite

At the next facility, you will encounter a floating creature a second time when you open the huge round safe door. Jump into the water, get the monster's attention by moving to the right and diving under the hatch located above the red door button. When you lure the creature to the right, then return to the left side and swim even more to the left to find a secret passage.

Secret 10. Incomprehensible

After you wake up deep underwater and hold your breath indefinitely, swim up and move through the office. You must get to the giant blades. Before swimming through them, follow down and to the left. Pull both locks to open a huge bulkhead and access another device.

Secret 11. Clockwork

After getting out of the water, you will find a small pool with body parts. In the next room there is a puzzle with a wheel that you have to spin to move the platform to the stairs on the right side. Adjust the platform so that it faces north (12:00 a.m.) and then return to the burial area. Exactly where the dead bodies are, jump down (swim) to find a secret passage.

Secret 12. Room for reflection

In a strange room where corpses hang upside down, you must solve a puzzle to get to the water from above. Get to the large square box on top, move to the experiment room to close the door, then walk around. Move the crate to the right side and ride it to push the dimly lit red button. She will open the passage to the next device.

Secret 13. Office space

Getting to the device is difficult. After making your way through the abandoned office and collecting the unmanned drones, look into a room with an impressive view of the main facility. Downstairs, people run to the open door. There is a black pole in the break room blocking the rope. Remember this, you will need to come back later.

After you have access to the elevator in the break room, take 3-4 drones with you to the elevator. Leave three or four drones on top of the elevator. This can be achieved by quickly running into the elevator and pressing the button so that only a fraction of them go with you. When you separate the drones, press the elevator button again. You will go up to the break room and your drones will drop you onto a rope. Climb up and then jump down to another part of the drones that you need to use to get to the device's final location.

Secret 14. The last device (code from the door of the bunker)

You will find the last device at the last object. Enter the testing room, where all scientists are looking through the glass on the right side. Take the cart and use it to climb the square cabinets. Open the grate and slip inside the ventilation shaft until you reach the staff ladder. Instead of going down, go up. This path will take you to the device. Enter and pull to disable it.

On a strange board in the background, you will see a code that opens the door to the bunker.

How to open the secret bunker door?

When all devices are turned off, select "Download" and return to the location with the cornfield. Open the bunker described in the second secret, go down and move forward to the mysterious door.

If all devices are disabled, you will see a white light in the corner, next to the door and the switch. Interact with the switch and move the handle in the right directions. Enter the same code that was shown on the board in the last secret.

The door will open. Move through the cave until you reach the mysterious laboratory. In the far right corner there will be another device connected to the wall. Interact with him. This may take two tries. So you turn off the main machine and see the ending of the game Inside.
