Gearbox Publishing and Norsfell Games have announced Tribes of Midgard co-op survival game and revealed the official trailer. The game will be dedicated to Scandinavian mythology. It will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 next year.
The official synopsis reads:
Tribes of Midgard is a co-op survival game where players must resist the invasion of giants during Ragnarok. The action takes place in procedurally generated worlds, fraught with many dark creatures, hidden gods and unknown resources. You play as a Viking who lives in the settlement where the Yggdrasil Tree Seed is located. This is the last bastion protecting the gods from other worlds.
The co-op supports up to 10 players, the worlds will be randomly generated, and there will be giants among the unique opponents.
