Quentin Tarantino on the best films of the decade

A well-known film director spoke about what movie he liked over the past decade.

Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has shared what he believes was the best film of the past decade. Speaking to Premiere, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood director said the honor went to Jwed Fincher's The Social Network, released in 2010 and about the rise of Mark Zuckerberg and his Facebook network.

It's The Social Network... Absolutely number one because it's the best movie ever. That's all! He crushes all competitors."

The film was written by Aaron Sorkin, whom Tarantino called one of the best screenwriters among those currently working. Tarantino added that he is a big fan of The News Service, which Sorkin also worked on.

The Social Network received 8 Oscar nominations and won three of them: Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Score and Best Editing. The role of Mark Zuckerberg was played by Jesse Eisenberg, and the film itself is based on Ben Mezrich's book Reluctant Billionaires.
