Popular Amplifier Mechanic Reappears in Zendikar Rising
Wizards of the Coast has announced that the newest Magic: The Gathering set, Zendikar Rising, is now available on MTG Arena, the free digital version of Magic. The desktop version of the release will go on sale starting September 25th.
The new set, already available in MTG Arena, consists of 280 cards: players will go on exciting adventures, solve interesting tasks and skillfully combine various resources.

With the introduction of double-faced cards and the new Squad mechanic, as well as the return of the Boost and Landfall mechanics, Zendikar Rising's deckbuilding experience will be truly unique and exciting for all players.
Also for tabletop MTG fans, Zendikar Rising will feature Set Boosters, a fun new way to collect and reveal new cards.
Up to 4 rare or mythic cards can be found in a single Set Booster, and the showdown process is designed to be fun to the very end. The set's boosters will also contain the art cards that debuted in the Modern Horizons set. Such maps showcase the work of the industry's leading artists - oneone of the key distinguishing features of Magic: The Gathering.
Tabletop MTG and digital MTG Arena are closely related, with some card sets from the new tabletop release containing redeemable codes for Magic: The Gathering Arena. Prerelease Packs will also contain a code that allows players to receive free boosters in Magic: The Gathering Arena.
