Mortal Kombat 11: Walkthrough of the Krypt

In this article, we will tell you where to look for all the key items of the game needed to get into each part of the Crypt.

Hammer of Shao Kahn

The hammer is located near the beginning of the Crypt. Thanks to it, you will have access to most of the above-ground areas of the island.

Horn of Motaro

You need the Horn of Motaro to go deeper into the island and to gain access to the crypts. Travel to the Warrior Temple and smash the meteorite to collect a Life Gem . Return to the courtyard and sneak into the room with the gong on the east side. You will see a locked door. You need a Life Gem to open it. Return to the Vault through this door and use the switch. Here you will find Motaro's horn . Use it to unlock the dungeon.

Ermak's Soul Amulet

In the Goro Dining Room, check the southwest corner for a hall leading to a circular room. Take the elevator down to get to the bottom pit. Below , Yermak will fall into spikes - take his soul amulet . You need it to control souls. With the help of the amulet, you can unlock the glowing green objects of the Krypt . You can also get to new areas by spending souls. You can use the Soul Amulet to repair the bridge in the Pit. For this you need 1000 souls.

Spear of Hanzo Hasashi

You will find this item inarmory . Head through the corridor to Goro's throne room . You can throw a spear at inaccessible objects to open new paths - for example, break the lanterns on a wooden bridge with a spear. You can also use a spear to pull out hanging corpses. You will tear them in half and take the heart .

Kenshi eye patch

This special eye patch gives you a glimpse of the spirit world. With its help, all invisible places or objects will become visible to you. To find the bandage, head to the prison through the right-most corridor in Goro's Throne Room . Use the bandage wherever you have been before. You can use the bandage to reveal new weak walls.

All the rest

Many other items needed to progress in the Krypt are earned randomly. These items appear when opening chests/containers in the Krypt or as a reward for completing Tower of Time objectives.
