Well-known insider Tom Henderson in the next podcast told how Dead Island 2 is doing. It turns out that the game feels quite good, considering that it has been restarted several times and ended up in production hell. The developers have not given up and are actively preparing for the imminent release, which should take place at the end of this or early next year.
The main setting in Dead Island 2 will be California. We have to travel through cities full of zombies, explore abandoned houses and supermarkets, and cooperate with other survivors. In terms of gameplay, the sequel will be close to the original game, incorporating familiar mechanics that will be improved.
The first gameplay trailer, according to Henderson, should be presented soon.
