The authors of Genshin Impact decided to create their own metaverse

miHoYo Studio has announced the creation of its own metaverse, which will include not only their mega-popular game Genshin Impact , but also all other developments. The project is called HoYoverse, and in it the authors plan to provide players with a "high level of freedom", whatever that means.

So far, the developers are not ready to talk about the metaverse of any specifics. The team will actively invest in the development of new content for HoYoverse, as well as improving AI and cloud computing.

At the moment, in addition to Genshin Impact, miHoYo has at its disposal the equally popular mobile game Honkai Impact 3rd. Apparently, in the future, the company will create many more franchises that will be somehow interconnected.
