Supermassive Games, developer of Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures , has trademarked The Quarry . Will it be a new part of the horror anthology?
Unfortunately, information about the game is minimal. What is known is that it is classified into the categories of gaming software, entertainment services and computer programming services. The logo can be seen in the picture, and the name is The Quarry.
The application for brand registration was discovered by the user @the_marmolade , and the VGC publishing house confirmed the information that The Quarry trademark was registered with the EU Intellectual Property Office on February 17, 2022. VGC sources inform that the new game will be published by 2K. The release will take place by the end of 2022.
Prior to this, we reported that the company has registered 5 trademarks for The Dark Pictures franchise . It is likely that The Quarry will become another part of the franchise, but something like a multiplayer spin-off.
The success of the title is quite expected.
