Blizzard has decided to speed up the release of its new project called Overwatch 2 by sending the new product to release in parts. First, the team plans to release the PvP component, and after that, players will be able to evaluate the story campaign.
In fresh developer diaries, the authors report that testing of the first piece will take place in the very near future. First, a narrow circle of testers will get access to the game, and after (around April) the game will go to the CBT. At the start, players will be presented with reworked characters from the first part, a new hero, a ping system, and four maps.
An open test of the PvP component is planned to be held before the end of 2022, but we have not yet been informed about the release of PvE modes.
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
