Randy Pichward, Gearbox Studio Manager, has revealed that Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will include support for cross-play between different platforms at release. In this case, we are talking about multiplayer, in which, apparently, PC users will be able to boot together with the owners of the Xbox and PlayStation.
Earlier it was reported that Sony, unlike Microsoft, demanded money from developers for including their platforms in crossplay. Apparently, now this problem is in the past, and soon cross-play may also appear in the third part of the Borderlands series.
It is not yet known if crossplay can be disabled, as console owners often complain that they have to play against PC users who use cheats. How it will be in practice, we will find out on March 25, when Tiny Tina's Wonderlands will be officially released.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
We are talking about the full release of version 1.0.
