Wargaming leaves Russia and Belarus without warning employees in advance

Some time ago, Wargaming, which developed games such as World of Warships, World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, announced its decision to leave the Russian and Belarusian gaming markets, transferring control of its projects to a third-party studio. This came as a huge surprise both for fans of the company's games and for the employees themselves.

Reportedly , the employees of the Minsk office learned about the termination of Wargaming on the same day as everyone else. It will take 4 months to curtail work, and during this time the team must decide whether to stay at home and quit or change location and continue to work for the previous management.

According to the official announcement, an office in Poland, Lithuania or the Czech Republic will become the new location for employees. Wargaming decided to transfer its Russian and Belarusian business to Lesta Studio, which will become an independent company.
