Fresh Metroid Dread trailer: new information will appear on August 27

Along with the new Metroid Dread trailer, Nintendo released Metroid Dread Report Vol. 5, where she spoke in detail about Samus's abilities, which will be available to the girl in the upcoming game. In addition, soon there will be new information and another video.

The video below shows Samus going on her next mission and discovering that she is a backup to take on Parasite X, the antagonist of Metroid Fusion. Surprisingly, there is voice acting in the game: usually in the titles of the series, with rare exceptions like the Metroid Prime trilogy and Metroid: Other M, only text is used. The second half of the trailer takes us to a much later date, replacing Samus's standard blue outfit, which she will apparently be wearing for most of Metroid Dread.

Metroid Dread will be released on Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021.
