Well-known gaming insider Jeff Grubb has denied rumors that Sony is planning to buy Kojima Productions. The head of the latter, Hideo Kojima, has already spoken out about this, promising to leave his organization independent, and the journalist also said that he had no information about such a move.
What Grubb has in mind is that Sony is planning to acquire some kind of studio that is bigger than Kojima Productions. The insider did not provide any specifics, but users under the comments on Twitter began to talk about the brands supposed to be acquired.
Among them are such large companies as Konami, Capcom and Bandai Namco.
