The previous Genshin Impact update added a new region, Inazuma, to the game. Many did not even have time to study it, and the release of the next update is just around the corner. Version 2.1, dubbed "Lunar Solace for the Mortal World", will be released on September 1st. As always, it will include a new storyline, characters, side activities and even fishing. In addition, Mihoyo offers a look at some of the abilities of the new hero - Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.

Update 2.1 will launch a new festival covering Li Yue Harbor, a host of decorations and events. The festival-related story will focus on finding the origins of Moonchase and cooking. There will be a few collectibles to find and a new 4-Star Claymore which is actually a giant fish.

Genshin Impact is finally getting its fishing mechanic. You will be able to create a special bait, and then go to various reservoirs where you should cast your fishing rod. Various fish will be caught, including some ornamental varieties, which can later be grown in a special pond (can be built in your home).

Mihoyo also detailed the abilities of Aloy, who will be the new five-star cryo archer. She has a couple cryo skills with area effects. Each player who reaches Adventure Rank 20 or higher will automatically receive an Aloy in the mail.
