Blizzard still decided to release their new game Diablo Immortal on personal computers. Initially, during the official announcement, representatives of the studio reported that the project was being created exclusively for mobile platforms, but then the decision changed.
As stated in the official blog, Blizzard management realized that users would still emulate Diablo Immortal on PC using third-party software. The official release of Diablo Immortal is scheduled for June 2 this year.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
