The first public demo of Call of Duty: Vanguard, albeit for a limited audience, will be launched this weekend. This will be an exclusive test for PlayStation console owners for a limited period of time.
Alpha has been named Vanguard Champion Hill and will run from August 27 to 29. Starts Friday at 20:00 Moscow time. Testing will be fully focused on the new Champion Hill mode (potentially translated as “King of the Hill”), which has become a kind of evolution of Gunfight from Modern Warfare 2019.
Champion Hill offers competitive 2vs2 or 3vs3 combat. In essence, these are skirmishes in which different squads participate, and the main task is to get as many kills as possible. During the break between several rounds, gamers will be able to spend the accumulated points on the purchase of abilities, equipment and support. Gamers will be able to play as one of four campaign heroes.
On Tuesday, September 7, the presentation of the multiplayer component of Vanguard will take place. After that, over the weekend between September 10 and 13, PlayStation owners who pre-ordered the game will be able to take part in the open beta. Next weekend, from September 17 to 20, the beta will be available to absolutely all console holders. In the same period, access will be opened for those who pre-ordered the game on PC or Xbox, and on September 18, every owner of one of the listed platforms will be able to receive the game.
Call of Duty: Vanguard releases on November 5th. The game will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
