The developers of the game The Day Before have decided to continue creating their project on the Unreal Engine 5, as FNTASTIC representatives told the IGN portal. For this reason, the release of the project will not take place on June 21 of the current year, as previously planned, but on March 1, 2023.
This decision looks rather strange, since no normal studio will change the engine of their project a month before the official release. On the net, users have suggested that the developers just needed a reason to cancel the release, and it is far from certain that by March next year there will not be another reason to replay everything again.
But if we are wrong, The Day Before can become one of the most promising and interesting projects from domestic studios.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
