Shepard won't be in Mass Effect 4

Earlier, rumors appeared on the network hinting at the appearance of the legendary Commander Shepard in the new Mass Effect 4 game. This seemed strange to fans of the franchise, since the canonical ending of the trilogy shows the death of the protagonist. Of course, there were other variants of events in the game, but this particular ending is true.

Representatives of the studio BioWare clarified the situation, saying that the text, on the basis of which the assumption was made about the appearance of Shepard in the fourth part, was written by people who are not familiar with the plot of the trilogy. Accordingly, ME fans should not count on the return of their favorite character.

And the studio should have entrusted the writing of the main synopsis (the misspelled text was a brief announcement of Mass Effect 4) of the games to more competent authors.
