'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Trailer Confirms Multiverse

After months of speculation, leaks and teasing, we finally got the first official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The third Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will tell about the events that unfold after Spider-Man: Far From Home. Peter turns to Doctor Strange for help to turn back time, and this causes a real collapse. The first hints of the multiverse appeared in the post-credits of the previous film, when we were shown J. John Jameson as the famous Jonathan Kimble Simmons. We remind you that he played in another Spider-Man franchise from Sam Raimi.

In a post-credits scene, Jameson hosts a talk show in which he reveals the identity of Spider-Man, Peter Parker. After the movie Loki, we know that there are many timelines and realities within the MCU. All it takes to get there is a superhuman with the right ability. That is Doctor Strange. This will be Strange's first appearance since the Avengers finale. Apparently, he is slowly being prepared for the next solo film in the universe.

In the trailer, we are shown several villains at once. Eletcro Jamie Foxx from The Amazing Spider-Man. High voltage". William Dafoe's Green Goblin will also likely appear, as we see the bomb from the first Raimi film on screen, and echoing laughter is heard everywhere.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 16 and will be available exclusively in theaters. This will be the fourth Marvel movie to be released in 2021 after a year-long hiatus from the studio. The triquel follows Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, both out this summer, and The Eternals, due out in November.
