As part of the celebration of another anniversary (I'm already lost on the count) of Star Wars, the first official trailer for the role-playing action Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, was presented. Contrary to assumptions, the game never got the name Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2. Still, we were told about the “fallen order” of the Jedi in the original, and now the events will be devoted to something else. As it became known to the portal ShowGamer.com, the premiere of the game will take place in November 2023.
The short cinematic trailer confirms a few things. Firstly, Cal Kestis will remain the main character, and the events unfold 5 years after the original. He is still on the run from the Empire. There are few plot points, but many new inquisitors and mysteries.
It is curious that Cal, who throughout the original tried to gather as many allies as possible, will once again find himself alone. And his lightsaber, the restoration of which the guy spent so much effort, fell into the hands of the Empire. Things are really bad for Cal...
In addition, the role-playing game will be released on PC and current-gen consoles only - PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S. EA did not mention the previous generation, and then was quick to explain: the game is too beautiful to cut the graphics and try to "shove" it into PS4 or Xbox One. Ray tracing, minimum loading screens - these are just some of the pluses.
Also during the celebration of Star Wars, viewers could see the trailers of the Andor TV show and the third season of The Mandalorian. In fact, you can see them below:
So far, both games are in the early stages of development.
The success of the title is quite expected.
New heroes, new challenges.
Deadpool's world is dying.
