New trailer reveals Jett: The Far Shore release date

Sci-fi adventure about the exploration of the mysterious planet Jett: The Far Shore will be released on October 5, 2021. The project, developed jointly by Superbrothers and Pine Scented, was showcased yesterday during Gamescom Opening Night Live. In addition to the release date, the atmospheric video contains several different biomes.

The last Jett: The Far Shore gameplay video was revealed in July, and the new trailer reveals a lot more. We will move around the open world, divided into sometimes diametrically opposed biomes. Everything is here - from the raging sea to the endless plain. We will do this on a spaceship, but, obviously, the main character will be able to leave the ship to explore the world from the first person.

The idea behind the project is that you are tasked with dedicating your life to exploring and mapping a newly discovered planet. The task is to find something that the developers called hymnwave, which is necessary for the prosperity of mankind.

The latest Superbrothers project is Sword and Sorcery. Thus, the developers have significantly moved away from their original style based on pixel art. And do not rush to compare the project with No Man's Sky: Jett: The Far Shore is more based on the exploration of the atmospheric world than on the collection of resources and crafting.
