Quin69 spent $15,870 to get his first 5-star gem. After that, the gamer, without much regret, deleted the account and the game itself, urging his subscribers and viewers to do the same. So the New Zealander expressed his attitude to the aggressive monetization system that Blizzard introduced in its game.
Note that Diablo Immortal, albeit free, but for real money, anyone can buy literally anything in the game.
