Following the official announcement of Call of Duty: Vanguard last week, Activision shared a gameplay snippet of the story campaign. It happened yesterday during Opening Night Live. It was a demo that focused on the mission in Stalingrad.
The main character of the mission is Polina Petrova, a Soviet Red Army sniper and one of four Vanguard characters. We see Petrova fighting in a blazing, Nazi-bombed Stalingrad, wielding a variety of weapons ranging from a knife to a shotgun, a sniper rifle, and a Kar98.
Based on the gameplay shown, I would like to emphasize the incredible mechanics of the weapon and the clear animations of its reloading, although the mission itself is similar to everything that we are used to seeing in CoD: a linear task with improved graphics. But seriously, visually everything looks just incredible and realistic.
We remind you that the military shooter will be beta tested in September, while the full version of Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on November 5th. The release is scheduled for PC, PlayStation 5, PS 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
