Found an alternative way to get a "broken" achievement in The Quarry

2K has acknowledged that a couple of weeks ago there was an issue "due to which the 'Thank you, don't (Hard Pass)' achievement was not counting" in The Quarry . Despite this, the developers did not even prepare a fix. Unfortunately for fans of "platinum", the problem will not be fixed in the next updates.

Based on the description of the achievement, it can be obtained if you refuse Elise's help. It looks like the game just doesn't save your bounces. Even if you do everything right, there is a chance that you still won't get the achievement. However, a workaround was found by a user named JovialTrash4335.

To unlock the achievement, you need to pick up tarot cards in each chapter and select the "Move on" option while talking with Elisa. When you've made your choice, pause the game, save, and then reload. Thanks to this, in the future you will receive the desired achievement.
