Cameron is confident that "Avatar 2" will wipe the nose of all critics

In an interview with Empire magazine, James Cameron said that after watching Avatar 2, all critics will finally shut up.

The trolls will understand that no one cares about their opinion, they do not remember the names of the characters or the events that took place in the film. But after watching the film, they will say: "Oh, I'm sorry, I'd better shut up."

The duration of the original was 160 minutes, while the sequel will run about three hours. James sees no problem in such a long duration. He is sure that the audience will endure and will not leave the hall prematurely.

I don't want to hear this whining about how long a movie is from people who can watch shows for eight hours. <…> I have seen my children watch five hour-long episodes of their favorite TV show in one sitting. Society must understand that going to the toilet during a session is the norm.

Avatar 2 takes place several years after the events of the original. Jake Sully defends Pandora from the Earth army, as the Na'vi have chosen him as the leader of all the people. The Na'vi are in search of a new place to live in the depths of the ocean.

The premiere will take place on December 15, 2022.
