Biomutant, developed by the Swedish studio Experiment 101, was released last May. The game has sold over 1 million copies, enough to pay for itself within a week of release.
THQ Nordic bought Experiment 101 in November 2017, acquiring the studio and rights to Biomutant for approximately $6.5 million.
Embracer, the parent company of THQ Nordic, subsequently said that Biomutant sales were "in line with management's expectations".
