Forspoken , Square Enix's upcoming RPG for PS5 and PC, has been delayed until 2023. Such a decision is described as a "strategic decision" of the company.
Before that, the game was supposed to be released on October 11 of this year, but now the release is scheduled for January 24, 2023. The information came from the game's official Twitter account:
As a result of ongoing discussions with key partners, we have made the strategic decision to move Forspoken's release date to January 24, 2023. All game elements are currently completed and development is in the final stages of polishing.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and patience. Your experience with the game inspires us every day and we can't wait to talk more about Forspoken later this summer!
