A draft law has been submitted to the State Duma proposing a complete ban on the dissemination of information that can be interpreted as propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations.
In the explanatory note, the deputies refer to the importance of defining measures aimed at ensuring the intellectual, moral and mental security of society. It is forbidden to deny family values and popularize non-traditional sexual relations.
At the moment, the restrictions apply only to minors, but in the future, the State Duma Committee will prohibit such propaganda, regardless of the age of the audience. Violators are subject to administrative liability Art. 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
