The State Duma hints that soon Google will completely leave the Russian market

On July 18, the World Court of the Tagansky District of Moscow ruled that Google should pay a fine of 21.077 billion rubles for the systematic failure to remove information prohibited in the Russian Federation. Deputy Chairman of the State Duma for Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications Anton Gorelkin said in his Telegram:

Let me remind you that the previous turnover fine of 7.2 billion rubles was fully collected from the corporation by bailiffs, but it [Google ] continues the practice of defiantly disregarding Russian law. What this attitude will lead to is not difficult to predict: Google runs the risk of completely losing the Russian market.

Earlier, the deputy shared that "the American platform continues to actively participate in the information war against Russia."
