Some time ago, on the Steam page of the System Shock remake, information about the release date appeared. The schedule shows March 2023, which means that the developers decided to postpone the release of the new product to a later date.
Initially, it was assumed that an updated version of the cult shooter would become available before the end of 2022, but apparently it did not grow together. The game turned out to be too ambitious, despite the fact that Nightdive already had the concept. According to the staff, in fact, the remake is a completely new game, in which only the plot remained from the original.
Recall that in System Shock we are fighting against the distraught artificial intelligence Shodan, seeking to destroy all life.
