Firesprite Studio, which was recently acquired by PlayStation, is looking for new employees to work on three new titles. The workforce already now has 200 people, and the company currently requires 46 more positions. Thus, thanks to the accession to the PlayStation, the studio expects a significant expansion.
One of the future titles is repeatedly referred to as a "story-driven adventure", and more than a third of the listed jobs are related exclusively to it. The studio's director of development describes it as a "dark, story-driven" game for the next generation "with genre-defining goals". The description for the senior designer role states "a branching AAA narrative" but emphasizes that "the team is at an early stage."
Finally, some jobs focus on a virtual reality action-adventure game "adapted from one of the original and successful multi-million dollar IP consoles over the past 10 years." Given that we are talking about Firesprite, the following franchises fit these requirements:
