Valorant is getting a console version

Studio Riot Games plans to release the console version of its competitive shooter Valorant in the near future. For these purposes, the organization is looking for several specialists ( game design manager and senior game designer ) who will help the team prepare the appropriate version of the game.

The job description notes that successful candidates will work on updating the Valorant combat system and developing modes adapted to the console market. Also, developers will have to shovel the user interface and controls for modern gamepads.

It is not yet clear whether we are talking about two generations of consoles or the authors will release the game only on nextgen.
