A law came into force in Russia prohibiting the promotion of LGBT values based on the type of non-traditional relationships between people. This ruling applies to movies, TV shows, animated films, books and of course our favorite video games.
It follows from the law that for attempts to spread non-standard values and impose the need to change the sex of citizens of the Russian Federation, a responsible person or company may incur an administrative penalty in the form of a fine. Apparently, the same stores and digital platforms will oblige to remove or make inaccessible games containing prohibited elements in the country.
Traditionally, citizens from Roskomnadzor will be responsible for the implementation of the law.
