Fortnite creators sued for being addictive

Well, or so it is considered.
Fortnite creators sued for being addictive

In Canada, several families are suing studio Epic Games, which developed and released the popular battle royale Fortnite . The plaintiffs in their statement note that the developers deliberately created such a game that very quickly causes addiction in teenagers.

According to the families' lawyers, the reason for the accusation was that their children are so addicted to Fortnite that they simply refuse to eat and wash, spending all their time online. But the judge, after analyzing the evidence, came to the conclusion that there are no differences in Fortnite from other royal battles, and therefore Epic Games had no evil intention when creating the project.

The court ruled that parents should be more careful about how their children spend their time. When the situation gets out of hand, moms and dads need to make decisions that will reduce the level of dependence of kids on digital entertainment.
