For the first time in a year and a half, the Chinese authorities allowed the release of a number of foreign game titles in the country. Until that time, officials only did what they introduced new restrictions, but today digital entertainment fans from the Middle Kingdom have a real holiday.
In total, more than four dozen games from various developers received the go-ahead for release. True, it is not specified what exactly caused it: either the state apparatus made indulgences, or the authors of the games had to release separate versions prepared specifically for China. The latter is not uncommon, since it is the Chinese market that is the largest and most profitable for global companies.
In any case, the trend is good.
