The developers of A Plague Tale: Innocence could have completely abandoned the release of an already finished game due to bad reviews from testers. It turns out that initially the project had a completely different concept, which the focus group did not like at all.
As a result, the authors of the game were faced with a difficult dilemma: completely abandon the project or redo most of it. The preference was given to the second option, for which we are extremely grateful to the management of Asobo Studio. Of course, they had to work hard and take risks, but it paid off, and after the masterpiece reviews of the first part, the authors decided to release a sequel.
By the way, it also turned out to be very good.
