Apex Legends is getting a hardcore mode

Dataminers reported that they found hints in the Apex Legends battle royale files that a new hardcore mode will appear in the game in the future. The event will be temporary, but if it becomes popular with players, the developers can leave it on a permanent basis.

The essence of the mode is that in battles you will have a minimum of information on the display. Not only will you have to inspect the weapons to find out the amount of ammo left, but also visit the beacons to find out how many teams are still in the match. In a word - realism, as far as possible in a futuristic shooter.

The release of the mode should take place on January 24th.
