Developers have no plans to port Halo 5 to PC

Despite the fact that right now you can find a huge number of games in the series on Steam, the PC version of the fifth part has not even been discussed yet.
Developers have no plans to port Halo 5 to PC

"Halo 5 may come out on PC", "Halo 5 still won't come out on PC" - such headlines flash in foreign and domestic media almost every month. There's a great Master Chief Collection available right now on Steam, and there are standalone Halo titles available on Steam, but that doesn't mean we're guaranteed to see a PC version of Halo 5 .

This week there was a serious data leak from the Nvidia Geforce Now service. However, it is not worth considering the information received from there as unconditionally correct. The company confirmed that the data is generally accurate, but some games are used simply as placeholders. To clarify the situation, representatives of 343 Industries contacted the journalists, who confirmed that at the moment there can be no question of transferring Halo 5 from the Xbox platform.

On Twitter community Brian Jarrard posted the following message:

This may be related to H5: Forge, but I can confirm that we have no plans to release H5 on PC. We know the demand is there, but as previously stated, the studio is currently focusing on Infinite and MCC. Never say never, but we don't do that at the moment.
